Your Responsibilities(Before We Begin)
To keep the process smooth and compliant, here’s what you handle:
Complete the council paperwork we provide
Pay council-related fees (admin fees, bonds, verge/footpath inspection fees)
Remove any items you want to keep before our crew arrives
Inform us of any special requirements or salvage requests
Our 4-Step Demolition Process
Step 1
Quote & Site Assessment
Once you accept the quote, we guide you through everything required.
We check site conditions, note salvage items, and outline the full scope.
No upfront deposit — only council application fees are paid at this stage.
Step 2
Council Approvals & Service Disconnections
Then we handle the preparation work:
Lodge the demolition application
Arrange rat baiting
Disconnect electricity and gas meters
Decommission sewer/septic
Notify neighbours if required
Water stays connected to ensure dust suppression during demolition.
Step 3
Asbestos Removal & Pre-Demolition Prep
Council permits typically take around 2 weeks.
Once approved, we meet onsite to confirm the scope and boundaries.
Our licensed asbestos team will:
Identify and safely remove all asbestos
Strip internal materials where required
Arrange an asbestos clearance certificate before demolition proceeds
After clearance, machinery is mobilised and demolition begins.
Step 4
Demolition & Final Site Clean-Up
We complete demolition safely and efficiently.
Then we:
Rake the block to 700–800mm depth (industry standard)
Remove all debris
Leave your site clean and build-ready
Submit the BA7 completion notice to council
Your site is now fully prepared for construction.
